the results were all announced on Fri (4 May 07).... here r a summary of hw I have fare...
Oral: 84 marks (arrghh... tis sux)
Written test: 92.9 marks (many many many careless mistakessssss.....)
Listenin test: 98 marks (lose 2 marks to a STUPID careless mistake!!!! arrgghh...)
Reading -written test: 98.5 marks
ok... kind of disappointed with myself ... its kind of easy and yet i didnt get FULL marks?!! careless mistakes........ n worst of all MY ORAL sux!!!! bt teacher said its good (yah tryin to make me feel better only.... >_<) Disappointed as I tinkthe results r above 80 marks in level 1.....so wat i scored aint gd enuff.... I SHOULD BE GETTIN AT LEAST one FULL MARKS!!!!!!!
kk finished all the sad things about my mid term exams...... on yeah CELEbration after the k-ing of books over the weekend hahaha....
on Friday (4 May 07) its a big day for us, cos its the "Global friends with Yonsei" event. Its an event held annually whereby international students come together to meet up and interact with korean students studyin in Yonsei University.... So this special day happens to fall on Fri, the day where we were given our test papers back.... so on thurs teacher told us about this event and that all of us from KLI (korean Language institute) will participate and have to wear the KLI blue tees that she will be distributing.... she told us we will go to sch at 9am n she would give us back our test papers after which at 10am we will be given the Korean rice cake...
we will have our breakfast together in the class and at 11am we shall make our way to Yonsei's auditorium....yesh we r going to watch some performance by students and most important of all CONCERT !!! they invited singers to sing !!! It so happen to be I (아이) , MC sniper, Clazziquai and Lazy bone. heheehee I happened to knw 3 singers out of 4 who are performing...
so we took back our blue tees.... n on the very day, everyone wore the blue tees to school. Surprize!! cos as u knw in sg when teacher asked you to wear such tees ppl tend to only change it in sch. But i guess everyone is proud to be a student in Yonsei and in KLI hence all of us wore the blue tees..... so can you imagine the whole KLI r filled with ppl in blue tees movin ard.... this is so COOL!
so first of all results were announced.... n at 10am, the traditional korean rice cake were distributed.... we ate it.... taste like huat guay (bt a bit hard) and look like ang gu guay (bt its green in color?! without fillin....) n teacher told us the auditorium r filled with lots of students hence we will go there slightly later like 10.30am... afterwhich, she left us in our classroom to chat... n we took our class photos.......

so at 10.30am, teacher still havent come into the class so we decided to find our teacher instead of gettin her climb up 2 flight of stairs to our class.... n caught her chattin wif another teacher... once she saw us she told the teacher "i gonna go nw my class is waiting for me...." -in korean...
hahaha so funny... k i knw we very gan cheong.... so off we went in a grp of blue with my teacher leading us.... along the way, teacher was like a tour guide explainin to us the tings ard the sch... tellin us which n where r the popular spots for dating couples... (dun ask me y she tell us these?!!!)
along the way, I was chatting with my teacher. Guess she was curious about me being about to speak both chinese n english and a bit of japanese (as u didnt knw i was like a translater in class translating wat teacher said to my classmates... in both english n chinese?! Tiff is doin the same ting in class too... guess singaporeans r really useful at tis spot. hehehe) Meanwhile, my class had already walked so fast infront....
so off we went into the auditorium... as we are frm level 1 we were assigned to sit on the top level... while the higher level seat below ... so firstly, the program is knwn as "matching friends"... so students r given a big big big ID card which they r suppose to fill in their own particulars like name, age, currently studyin, hobbies, nationality. So the game goes like this, the host will match ppl according to who they want to meet. For instance, you will write you are frm the USA and wants to meet a Korean, your hobby is to sing. So the host will match a Korean who wants to meet friends who can speak english and his hobby is also to sing. Its quite fun... as we see them matchin ppl... 没我们的份, cos i think our korean r too bad liao so dun wanna waste the time ah.... haha
so this lasted for about 1 hr plus.... soon its the concert.... !!! all the long wait.... hehehe... the 1st performer is I (아이)... a very talented new singer... he was debuted 1stly by singing songs frm dramas n movie. He had sang in many OST and the most popular ones are frm the drama called 봄날 (Spring day). I came to knw about him frm Music Show tank (in my previous post), we caught him performin on stage tat time n he was really cute cos he's so nervous wif his eyes lookin everywhere except at the audiences when he was singing back then n had both hands on the microphone (ahhh CUTE!)
so he came out performin... this time still as powerful with his voice and he had improved since the last performance! he has more eye contact wif the audiences although at times he tried to move away frm the eye contacts... still so cute when he is nervous... had a small interview with the host and went back to sing the song he sang for 봄날 (成名曲）
so next is Lazy bone ... a rock band.... erm... didnt have much photos... cos i am nt a very rock person so dun really appreciate their music...
the third performer is MC Sniper... a very cool n good rapper...
and last but nt least, Clazziquai
the day was really fun!!! enjoying all the performances.... its always GREAT when you dun need to STUDY hahahaa.... so that's the end of my 1st half of the day...... we had our second class gathering on the very nite (going to KTV) n something happened.... pls stay tune while I update you wif the 惊险的晚上.... bloody nite!!! aaHHH!! O_O
